Hello and welcome, I’m happy you’re here! As a licensed and registered direct-entry midwife, I’m dedicated to supporting women through their childbearing years and beyond with personalized fertility and maternity care, as well as holistic wellness that includes herbal remedies and integrative health.
My midwife training included a five-year clinical apprenticeship under three diverse preceptors, all of whom were approved by the North American Registry of Midwives. Most notably, I was under the guidance of the founder of Midwives College of Utah.
I registered the name Haya Midwives with the state of Utah. The Aramaic word Haya (hi-ya) means life. It was chosen to honor my heritage and give my practice a deeper respect.
I am a life midwife, helping to bring in new life and providing holistic health care and wellness throughout all stages of life.
I come from generations of midwives and holistic healers in my ancestral line. Knowing my lineage makes perfect sense of why I wanted to become a “baby doctor” at the age of eight. Midwifery is in my DNA!
My love for supporting women and their families through birth work began in 2011 when I couldn’t deny my calling any longer. My journey brought awareness of my roots and the healing midwife passion in me was ignited!

I’m an attentive Certified Professional Midwife focusing on the care of each pregnancy while honoring informed choices. I emphasize holistic birth and wellness for healthy pregnancies while providing comprehensive prenatal, birth and postpartum care. Natural childbirth preparation and prenatal education is included.
I’m also a childbirth educator and teacher while constantly up-leveling through continuing education in the field of midwifery and wellness. I enjoy creating greeting cards and gift bags, rock collecting, meditation and yoga.
I lived in San Diego where I worked and attended college. I’m a beach lover at heart, but the beauty of Utah mountains, family and love for my clients keep me here. I have an entrepreneurial spirit with founding my own businesses and creating a childbirth method that I teach in between baby catches.
I appreciate the women that I take care of and their families that I serve. I see the bravery in them as choosing a home birth usually goes against family and societal norms. I love providing this choice for these amazing family trailblazers!

I appreciate the traditional Midwives Model of Care as I provide devout, intuitive midwife care.
I want you to have a healthy pregnancy, a positive birth experience, and a smooth postpartum transition by way of skilled, wise care.
respectfully,
~Alda
